Transcript:  “I’ve been with Legal Aid for six months now. I was in the military before—I was in the Air Force—and I’ve always wanted to serve people through whatever I did. After I got out of the military, I thought I would want to work for an organization that would enable me to continue giving to everyone else, to continue serving everyone else. So Legal Aid was a natural progression for me. I came in saying, ‘Yes, sir; no, sir’ and ‘Yes, ma’am; no, ma’am,’ and my boss finally had to tell me, ‘You don’t have to say ‘yes, sir,’ you don’t have to say ‘no, sir’!’ But it’s so ingrained.

When you get results for clients, clients who cannot speak for themselves or … they can speak for themselves, but they may not have expertise in order to get results. And when we get those results for the clients, that makes me feel really good.”
