Transcript:  “Specifically my job is working with domestic violence victims. So I work with people of all ages. I work with teenagers, I work with middle-age individuals, I work with elderly people who have been victims of abuse.

There’s virtually no day that’s going to go by without you getting a telephone call, walk-in client, people coming in who really need your help. And you always have personal contact with your clients. You know who your clients are, you know how you can help them, and when you are able to help them, you know that you’ve done a good job.

Another nice thing about Legal Aid is the flexibility of the programs, being able to plan your own day, make your own schedule. It’s good, not only as a work environment because of the flexibility, but also it helps you create that home/life balance, which is really important for single parents or parents of young children.

You’re doing good work for good people who need justice brought to their lives.”
