LSAP’s policy justice advocates tackle the growing issue of housing access on behalf of traditionally voiceless Minnesota populations—with the ultimate goal of implementing laws and policies that provide safe, affordable housing for all Minnesotans.

• Legal Aid worked with partners to pass a new state law creating a statewide fund to provide relocation assistance to residents of manufactured home parks in the event a park closes or converts to another use. This legislation protects Minnesota’s 180,000 residents of manufactured housing communities.
