Tax Law Project
Many disadvantaged Minnesotans are still trying to wade through the changes that welfare reform has brought. The Tax Law Project provides representation and referral services to low-income taxpayers and educates them about their responsibilities. We emphasize earned income tax credits, which are a major untapped source of income for the working poor. If you are a legal services or volunteer attorney, we also provide tax training to help you identify tax issues your clients may be facing.
